Leadership Position Highlights:
Leadership Role: Direct and elevate a comprehensive cardiac anesthesia program
Generous Compensation: $575k-$590k; $125,000 start date bonus, relocation bonus, licensure support,10 weeks PTO, 100% paid malpractice, and full benefits
Lifestyle-Friendly Call: Every 5th Week, beeper call from home (infrequent call backs) – NO in-house call

Opportunity Details:
Anesthesia Care team is comprised of 9 physicians and 25 APPs
Diverse Case mix including Cardiac, Vascular, Gyn, Ortho, Trauma, Cysto, ENT, Neuro, Orthospine, General, Robotic, Thoracic-Lungs, OB-non high risk, GI, EP, MRI, CT, Cathlab, Bronch Lab, Plastics, healthy day surgery Peds, and Podiatry
Approximately 400 cardiac cases annually
Level II Trauma Center
Cardiac Fellowship, TEE Certification Required

Facility Information
HCA Florida Fort Walton-Destin Hospital is a full-service, 330-bed acute care facility serving Florida’s Emerald Coast and the surrounding tri-county area. As the region’s only Level II Trauma Center, the hospital offers a wide range of advanced surgical services, including cardiothoracic surgery, robotic-assisted procedures, neurosurgery, orthopedic and spine surgery, general surgery, and minimally invasive techniques across multiple specialties. The hospital features state-of-the-art operating rooms, a dedicated cardiovascular OR team, and a comprehensive surgical recovery unit to support high-quality, patient-centered care. Its open-heart surgery program is among the most respected in the region, supported by an Accredited Chest Pain Center and a full suite of cardiac services. In addition to surgical excellence, the hospital provides specialized care through its cardiovascular and neonatal intensive care units, emergency services, including a main ER, Pediatric ER and Express ER, Primary Stroke Center, inpatient rehabilitation unit, and behavioral health services.
