Meg Lafave serves as the Chief People and Culture Officer. She most recently served as Senior Vice President of People and Government Affairs at Envision. Prior to that, she was the Vice President of Government Affairs where she spearheaded the organization’s public policy strategy and advocacy at the federal and state levels.
Before joining Envision at the beginning of 2020, Meg worked at DaVita, serving as Director of Patient Support and Insurance and then as Chief of Staff to the Chief Executive Officer.
Previously, Meg was Director of Human Capital at DSST Public Schools, a network of high-performing, values-centered STEM charter schools in the Denver metro area. During DSST’s rapid growth, Meg led the development of its human capital practices, including recruitment and hiring processes and talent pipeline and development practices. Meg also spent three years in the classroom with Teach for America as a high school math and science teacher in Denver and Chicago.
Meg earned her bachelor’s degree from Purdue University and her Master of Business Administration from the University of Colorado at Boulder Leeds School of Business. Meg is an active member of the Denver community, serving on the boards of AdvanceEDU and Healthier Colorado.
