Envision’s affiliated teleradiology medical group, F&S Radiology, P.C., earns The Joint Commission's Gold Seal of Approval® for Ambulatory Care Organizations.
We are pleased to share that Envision's affiliated medical group, F&S Radiology, P.C., which provides teleradiology services across the country, has earned The Joint Commission's Gold Seal of Approval for Ambulatory Care Organizations by demonstrating continuous compliance with its performance standards. The Gold Seal is a symbol of quality that reflects a healthcare organization’s demonstrated commitment to providing safe and quality patient care.
F&S Radiology, P.C. recently underwent a rigorous, unannounced on-site survey by The Joint Commission. During the survey, The Joint Commission reviewer evaluated compliance with Ambulatory Care standards encompassing several areas, including national patient safety goals, providing a safe environment of care, emergency management and information management, among others. The review resulted in a perfect score, with it being reported that "no requirements for improvement" were needed.
The accomplishment is due to the work of the more than 70 teleradiologists and robust support teams. This accreditation enables F&S Radiology, P.C.’s support team to perform delegated credentialing for multiple hospitals across the nation.
“This monumental recognition is because of our team’s shared commitment to patients and continuous quality improvement,” said David Dascal, MD, Radiology Chief Clinical Officer at Envision. “It demonstrates our ongoing investments in enhancing and expanding our teleradiology services and initiatives to advance the delivery of high-quality, patient-centered care. I express my sincerest thank you to all who have contributed to our team’s success.”
“Envision’s approach to care is rooted in our core values and commitment to clinical excellence,” said Joshua A. Bloomstone, Chief Medical Officer at Envision. “This is an incredible honor, and I am proud of the team for their work to continue raising the standards of care.
