23,000 annual pediatric visits
Independent pediatric emergency department
20 pediatric beds
10-hour physician shifts
8-hour Advanced Practice Provider shifts

Facility Information
K. Hovnanian Children’s Hospital at Jersey Shore University Medical Center (member of Hackensack Meridian Health) is the first and most comprehensive provider of pediatric care in Monmouth and Ocean counties. The hospital includes a pediatric emergency department and acute care units supported by over 100 pediatric sub-specialists working together with community pediatricians to deliver the most complete, most coordinated care for kids in their communities.
