Envision is hiring a critical care physician to join our existing team at this established intensivist program at St. David's South Austin Medical Center in Austin, TX!
South Austin Medical Center / Program Highlights:
368-bed regional referral hospital with a busy ED, established BMT program, strong subspecialty support, and diverse pathology
20-bed ICU, 8-bed Cardiac ICU
- Average daily ICU census of 15-30 patients
Hospitalist-led model with Critical Care consultation
- Separate trauma service line
Work alongside experienced and capable Advanced Practice Provider (APP) support
Dynamic and capable team that values work/life balance
10-15 shifts per month
Competitive hourly compensation
Room for growth of program including ECMO
Separate trauma service line
- Cardiac fellowship training preferred but not required
Facility Information
St. David’s South Austin Medical Center is part of St. David’s HealthCare, one of the largest health systems in Texas, which was recognized with a Malcolm Baldrige National Quality Award in 2014. St. David's South Austin Medical Center is an acute care facility with 344 beds, offering a range of complex specialties and sub-specialties, including a nationally accredited oncology program with the area’s only adult bone marrow transplant program; a trauma program that includes all of the capabilities and programmatic elements of a Level II trauma center to treat the most severely injured and critical patients; a comprehensive cardiac program; full-service maternity and newborn care with Level I and II nurseries; and three full-service emergency centers in the communities of Bee Cave, Bastrop and Buda.
