We are seeking a dedicated and collaborative Associate Medical Director to join our growing Pediatric Emergency Medicine (PEM) team at Medical City Children’s Hospital. As a key leader in a high-acuity, high-volume tertiary care center, you’ll work alongside a supportive team that values clinical excellence, innovation, and mentorship.
What You’ll Do:
- Partner with the other Associate Medical Director and Medical Director to enhance clinical quality and operations
- Support physician onboarding, education, and development
- Help shape department strategy and culture
- Foster collaboration with nursing, hospital leadership, and subspecialists
- Maintain a clinical role with flexible scheduling options

What We’re Looking For:
- Board-certified/eligible in Pediatric Emergency Medicine
- Leadership experience or strong leadership potential — graduating PEM fellows are welcome to apply
- Passion for pediatric emergency care with specific skill in any of the following areas: POCUS, QI, Sedation, EMS, AI, Transfer Medical Control.

Facility Information
Medical City Children’s Hospital serves as the flagship pediatric facility within the expansive Medical City Healthcare network. This 254-bed, award-winning hospital provides highly specialized pediatric care across a wide range of services. It features a 37-bed pediatric medical-surgical unit, supported by a Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU), a Cardiovascular ICU (CVICU), and a robust ECMO program.
The emergency medicine team collaborates closely with leading pediatric subspecialists in surgery, orthopedics, neurosurgery, neurology, nephrology, pulmonology, ENT, cardiology, and infectious disease. The hospital also offers a comprehensive pediatric hematology-oncology program and a psychiatric hospital with dedicated pediatric services.
Located on a shared campus with Medical City Dallas, the hospital is uniquely positioned as the only facility in the Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex to offer a Level IV NICU, a full-service children's hospital, a Level IV Maternal hospital, and a full-service adult hospital all in one location. Medical City Dallas supports nearly 100 specialties, providing seamless, full-spectrum care for patients of all ages—including advanced women’s and infant services—under one roof.
