As America’s leading medical group, Envision is striving to provide quality coverage where needed. The Envision Envoy team is looking for Independent Contractor EM for a hospital located in the Georgia area!
Highlights:
• 1099 Independent Contractor EM position.
• ED Volume: 45,000
• 34 ED Beds, 4 psych beds & 5 Fast Tracks
• The ED treats patients dealing with serious injuries, life-threatening illnesses, and multiple system organ failures.
• Physician Coverage Times: Mon-Fri 6a-4p, 9a-7p, 1p-11p, 6p-3a, 10p-7a, Sat-Sun 7a-5p, 10a-8p, 2p-12a, 7p-3a11p-7a
• APP Coverage Times: 7a-5p, 9a-7p, 12p-10p, 4p-2a
• EMR: EPIC
• Must be Board Certified or Board Eligible ABEM/AOBEM
• Must have ACLS and PALS certifications if board Eligible
• Active GA license and DEA
• Competitive compensation

Facility Information
Piedmont Newton is a 103-bed, acute-care, community hospital in Covington, Georgia offering 24-hour emergency services, women’s services, a Level II Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU), and general medical/surgical services. In May 2019, Piedmont Newton completed a $10 million expansion and renovation of the Emergency Department. The project doubled the department’s capacity from 16 beds to 32 beds, created an additional nurses’ station, and a room for higher acuity trauma cases. Serving Newton County and surrounding communities for over 60 years, Piedmont Newton Hospital offers high-quality, patient-centered care.
