Qualifications:
Must be BC in Pediatric Emergency Medicine with established academic and leadership background.
Ability to help develop and grow an already innovative and clinically excellent program, with potential aspirations to help form a PEM fellowship
Ability to help nurture and advance the clinical (and beyond) goals of the 5 FT, 2 PT, and multiple per diem physicians who currently work in the PED
Excellent compensation package including robust benefits, CME allowance, expense reimbursement account and fully paid malpractice coverage
Pediatric Position Profile:
23,000 annual pediatric visits
Independent pediatric emergency department
20 pediatric beds, including a newly renovated resuscitation room
10-hour physician shifts
10 to 12-hour Advanced Practice Provider shifts
Level I Pediatric trauma center
10-bed PICU and 40-bed NICU
Research opportunities available
Pediatric training program at facility, including both a Pediatric residency and medical students from multiple institutions
Scribe coverage
EPIC EMR
W2 status with comprehensive benefits package
