Derik Reynecke became the Chief Integration Officer of Envision Healthcare in September 2024. He brings a deep understanding of the healthcare industry and particular expertise in finance and accounting, acquisition evaluation, post-merger integration, strategic planning process and operational improvement, and IT lifecycle management services. He has more than 25 years of consulting, investment banking and operational experience with high-growth, middle-market, publicly traded and international companies.
Derik most recently served as Group Chief Financial Officer (CFO) of Caring Brands International Inc., a multinational healthcare services company leading the finance and accounting functions and providing strategic guidance on key operational initiatives. Previously, Derik served on the executive leadership team at Aveanna Healthcare, a Bain Capital portfolio company, as Senior Vice President of Corporate Development and M&A Integration and was responsible for acquisition evaluation, due diligence, strategic projects and integration activities. During his more than 5-year tenure at Aveanna, the company experienced significant growth through acquisition, increasing revenues from $250 million to more than $1.9 billion, including a successful IPO in April 2020. Since 2012, Derik has led more than $2.5 billion in merger, acquisition and integration activities in the healthcare industry. He started his career at Deloitte in its Audit, CFO and M&A Transaction Services group.
Derik earned his undergraduate degree in finance and accounting from the University of Johannesburg, South Africa, and his Master of Business Administration from the Fuqua School of Business at Duke University. He is a certified public accountant and chartered accountant.
