Envision Healthcare Doctors Discussing COVID-19

The health and well-being of patients and clinicians are our priority. As information on the coronavirus evolves, we will continue to evaluate our response and work with healthcare system partners to provide patients in communities across the nation the highest quality of care.

We are drawing from our shared clinical expertise from past responses to viruses, such as the flu and Ebola.

We are following guidelines set forth by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and the World Health Organization (WHO).

If patients are suspected of having COVID-19, we will isolate them immediately to minimize the risk to others, notify the local and state health departments and move forward with appropriate testing.

By trade, our more than 11,000 emergency clinicians who support the nation’s healthcare safety net have undergone extensive training on how to treat viral infections.
